Full Moon in Scorpio, 2022

This next Full Moon, the Super Flower Blood Moon, will be in Scorpio, the fixed water sign. The Moon will be at 25 degrees of Scorpio, with the Sun at 25 degrees of Taurus, and peak illumination will occur on Monday, May 16th at 12:14 am EDT.

This Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse. A lunar eclipse heightens a Full Moon’s potency; often bringing culminations, turning points, and major endings.

This Full Moon in Scorpio wants to get to the core of what’s trying to stay hidden. Scorpio the sign seeks emotional security, and Scorpio feels most secure when truths are revealed.

As this Full Moon in Scorpio and Sun in Taurus form a square aspect to Saturn: authorities, institutions and even our individual selves might feel the need to resist things we don’t want to accept.

Pluto also enters into a trine aspect to the Sun and Moon, releasing the tension of that Saturn square. This release will allow for important information to turn up at just the right time to create more space for healing.

We can always handle the truth, it’s trying to accept a lie that’s difficult.
