Full moon in Libra, 2022

This month’s full moon, known as the Pink, Sprouting Grass, Hare, or Growing Moon, is in Libra, the cardinal air sign.  Libra is ruled by Venus, the planet of attraction, and is the sign of peaceful and loving relationships.

The peak illumination occurs at 2:57 pm Eastern Daylight time on Saturday, April 16th, 2022, but won’t be visible till after the sunset.
This Full Moon highlights relationships and the creations relationships bring.

This year Jupiter (joy, expansiveness) comes together with Neptune (inner knowing, intuition) in the sign of Pisces (sensitivity), bringing added desire for meaning and joy in relationships.

Pluto (power and respect) is still traveling through the last degrees of Capricorn (structure and authority) and makes a tense aspect with the Full Moon in Libra and Sun in Aries.

This adds a level of intensity to all our relationships, especially when we are trying to negotiate power dynamics.
In tense moments we can choose Power-Over or Power-With. Power-Over may seem to solve our problems in moments of conflict, but the relationship won’t be sustainable. For meaningful relationships, we must share our power and respect.
