Full Moon in Sagittarius, 2026

Full Moon Blue Moon in Sagittarius, Sunday May 31 2026 at 1:45 am PDT.

When two Full Moons happen in the same month, we call the second Full Moon a Blue Moon.  All Full Moons bring something to fruition. Blue Moons give us a second chance to try something. Sagittarius is the Mutable Fire sign, the most optimistic of signs, always looking to expand, to grow, to discover something new.

The Full Moon in Sagittarius is traditionally one of the best times of the year to throw (or attend) a party.  People are usually wanting to have fun, be social, make connections and break out of the humdrum.

This Full Moon is also trine to Saturn (practicality) in Aries (Cardinal Fire) which gives an added sense of grounded-ness to all that change.

We may find inspiration under this Full Moon.  We may want to start something new:; a new project or a new vision for ourselves.  It might feel like we’re standing at the edge of a big change.

Stretching into something new can feel exciting and it may bring up fear.  The optimism of Sagittarius can help us bridge the desire to collapse back into the old way.

It’s OK to trust that exploring new possibilities is exactly what we need to be doing right now.

We might want to ask ourselves:

What have I been wanting to stretch into?

Who have I secretly known myself to be?

When have I felt confident in my life?

It’s a good time to have faith in yourself and try something new.
