Full Moon in Cancer Jan 3 2026 5:03 am EST is the Wolf Moon and it’s a Super Moon!

Cancer is the Cardinal Water sign. It’s known for bringing the energy of nurturance to any situation or relationship. It is the Sign of belonging and feeling safe.

The Sign of Cancer is ruled by the Moon. The Moon is associated with what makes us feel safe and fed by life.

Despite occurring in early January when most of us are thinking of our plans for the new year, this Full Moon is asking us to pay attention to our needs.

What parts of us, our physical, emotional, psychological or spiritual selves, are calling for our attention? Is there any part that feels tender or easily bruised? 

All Full Moons bring things to a head. With this Full Moon we might want to experience our feelings as meaningful messengers our deep unconscious is sending up to consciousness.

There may be tension between obligations, what’s expected of us— and taking good care of ourselves.  

It’s a good time to ask ourselves:

Am I ignoring my own feelings in order to be productive?

Am I waiting for someone to give me permission to rest?

Am I so driven by what other’s think it’s hard to hear myself?

and a good time to ask ourselves:

Are there any parts of me that are feeling tired of being strong?
