Full Moon in Gemini, 2025

The Full Cold Moon in Gemini, Thursday December 4 at 6:14 P.M. EST. 

Full Moons always bring things up to the surface, there’s always some sort of culmination going on. December’s Full Moon in Gemini is called the Cold Moon, for obvious reasons. This year’s Cold Moon is a dazzling Super Moon. Rising brighter and slightly larger than usual, lighting up the long Winter nights.

Gemini is the Mutable Air sign.  Mutable means changeable and the element of Air has to do with thought, speech, movement and commerce. Gemini is ruled by the planet Mercury, the part of our psyche that loves parties, sending messages, giving gifts and being out on the town. This is the part of us that loves to communicate!Gemini is the sign of the Twins and while one part of us loves all the social activities, there’s another part that needs a little quiet reflection and alone time.

We may feel overwhelmed by all the activity under this Full Moon.  When Gemini culminates it’s as busy as a beehive!  So make sure there’s some“Me Time” scheduled in.

It’s a good time to ask ourselves:

Am I replenishing myself with conversations, either with another person, writing in a journal or reading an interesting book?

Have I been imagining I have no value to my loved ones? 

Is there anyone I wish would contact me?  Reach out to them!

It’s a good time to stretch into the social whirl a little more than we usually do.
