Full Moon in Virgo, 2025

The Virgo Worm "Blood" Full Moon and Eclipse will reach peak illumination at 2:55 a.m. EDT on Friday, March 14, 2025. This moon occurs just days ahead of the Vernal Equinox. At this time of year worms are out there turning the soil, getting ready for seed to sprout. We call this a  "Blood Moon" because the Full Lunar Eclipse and will turn the Moon a reddish color. This lunar eclipse will be visible for all of the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and South America.
