Full Moon in Virgo, 2025

The Virgo Worm "Blood" Full Moon and Eclipse will reach peak illumination at 2:55 a.m. EDT on Friday, March 14, 2025. This moon occurs just days ahead of the Vernal Equinox

There’s so much going on with this Full Moon!

At this time of year worms are out there turning the soil, getting ready for seed to sprout. We call this a  "Blood Moon" because the Full Lunar Eclipse will turn the Moon a reddish color. This lunar eclipse will be visible for all of the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and South America.

Full Moons are energy activators.  Eclipses are also activators.

The Full Moon in Virgo (the Mutable Earth Sign), loves change but can get bogged down in the details involved.  Clear out any confusion by reconnecting with Nature, breathing and caring for your physical body.

The Eclipse of this Full Moon may reveal information that is painful to be aware of, but necessary to grow. Again, don’t get bogged down in details but stay with the truth that all these changes are bringing you to a better place.

This Moon is opposing Saturn (Structure, Authority) and Neptune (Inner Knowing) in Pisces (Acute Sensitivity).

This reiterates the message of the Eclipse: The information that’s revealed is for your benefit. The structures that are falling apart need to fall apart.  Don’t try to hang onto the way things used to be.

This Moon is also making a Grand Trine with Uranus (Change) in the last degrees of Taurus (Stability) and Pluto (Power, Transformation) in Aquarius (Community). Trines are easy flows of energy and this is a powerful trio to have working with us to create change.

It’s a good time to ask ourselves:

• What dream is crumbling?

• Have I given someone else the authority to make that dream come true?

• Can I commit to my heart’s desire, no matter what?

  It’s a good time to get out into nature, sink your feet into some dirt or sand and slow down! Feel into the commitments you want to make to your Self, your family and your community.
