The Full Moon always brings things to fruition. This Full Moon is in Cancer, the Cardinal (loves to start things) Water (Emotions) sign of the Zodiac. Cancer has to do with matters of safety, home, nurturance and feelings.  

With this Cancer Wolf Moon we naturally turn to thinking about what feeds us, not just physically but also emotionally and spiritually.  

This Full Moon is also in a trine (easy) aspect to Neptune (Intuition) in Pisces  (Sensitivity) the Mutable (Flexible) Water Sign. This creates an easy pathway for us to come into deep communication with our inner selves, our core, our soul.  

It’s a wonderful time to meditate, or enter into ritual and ceremony. You may want to vision for the coming year or simply enter into a quiet, meditative space and ask for guidance. 

Uranus (the part of us that can invent something new) is in Taurus (Feeling Grounded). Taurus is the Fixed (Dedicated) Earth sign, that loves to build things in the physical world.  Uranus makes a sextile (Communicative) aspect to the Moon (Belonging).  

This creates an opening for us to imagine and innovate something new in our lives. Especially in the realm of our homes, our feelings of nurturance and safety.

It’s a good time to ask:

Can I open myself to new ideas?

What do I need to really take care of myself?

What changes can I make in my home to create more feelings of being cared for?

On these cold January nights in the Northern Hemisphere, we can imagine the lone wolf out in the wilderness howling for her pack. She needs to communicate something. Is she hungry? Is there danger? Maybe she's calling out just to see where they are.
