This Full Moon is known as the Harvest Moon and is also the year’s first Super Moon.  

A Super Moon appears larger and brighter than we’re used to and happens when the Moon’s orbit takes her closer to the Earth. This closeness intensifies the gravitational pull on ocean tides as well as on our feelings. 

Aries, the Cardinal (Initiator) Fire Sign (Spirit, Energy) is known for its enthusiasm and willingness to act in strong, decisive ways. 

This Full Moon in Aries sits in opposition to the Sun in Libra: the Cardinal Air Sign (The Mind, Communication). Libra is the sign of Balance and Partnerships. A Full Moon’s Sign is always in opposition to the Sun’s Sign, and this axis highlights our need to respect ourselves within our relationships. 

This Aries Super Full Moon may bring up strong feelings and the desire to take action, especially within the framework of our important relationships.  

We may feel the need to take courageous first steps and release old patterns of behavior that have us feeling small or insignificant.  Conversely, we may want to consider if we’ve been coming on too strong.

We might want to ask ourselves: 

Have I been respecting myself AND the other?

Do I believe I’m less important than the other?

How can I take care of myself in this relationship?
