Full Moon in Aquarius, 2024

The Super Full Moon in Aquarius on Monday, August 19, 2024 @ 2:26 pm EDT. Also called the Sturgeon Moon.

A Supermoon happens when a Full Moon is within 90% of its closest approach to Earth. Full Moons always bring feelings and events to a head, and Super Moons pack an extra punch.

Aquarius (the Fixed Air Sign) is known for seeing things differently.

This Full Moon makes a tense square to Uranus (the planet of Innovation and Aquarius' ruling planet) in Taurus (the sign that likes to establish).

Square aspects require a lot of understanding. It’s as if the two sides of the 90 degree angle just don’t get each other. The Moon (the part of us concerned with some emotional security) may feel jolted by the new and unexpected.

This is a time to stay loose, to go with the flow even if it seems there is no flow… just jolts and shocks.

Are there assumptions you’ve unconsciously been making?
Are there expectations you’re surprised to find up-ended?
Are there upsets in your life that are making you feel unsafe?

This is a good time to let go of assumptions and expectations. See what wonderful surprises the Universe is trying to deliver to you!
