Full Moon in Gemini, 2021

The next full moon will be December 18th at 11:36 pm EST. This full moon, called the Cold Moon, will be in Gemini.

Gemini the Mutable Air sign is ruled by Mercury, the messenger of the gods. Gemini is the sign of The Twins, the social butterfly of the Zodiac, and loves to be out and about.

These social qualities will be amplified as the moon makes a beautiful trine to Jupiter, the part of us that loves a party, a conversation, a story, or a new perspective. 

There’s a bit of an undertow with Venus (the part of us associated with relationships and value), making a retrograde station as it heads back to a conjunction with Pluto (the part of us associated with power and self-respect).

All full moons pull energy up out of the depths and bring situations to a head. Pluto and Venus together bring up the question “Power-Over… or Power-With?”

This full moon is Gemini is all about play, socializing in joyful ways, using our words to encourage those around us….. resting in the faith that happiness is healing too.
