Full Moon in Aquarius, 2025

The Full Moon in Aquarius, Saturday, August 9th, at 3:55 AM Eastern Time

This Full Moon is called the Sturgeon Moon; also the Feather Shedding Moon and the Green Corn Moon.

Full Moons are always working to bring things to consciousness; to resolve something. Aquarius is the Fixed Air sign and has to do with ways of thinking. It is the sign of invention and humanitarianism.

Aquarius wants us to look at our ways of thinking that have gotten stuck in a rut. It wants us to find ways of thinking that will allow us to thrive in community.

This Full Moon (our need for nurturance, our awareness of what truly feeds us) is also making a Quintile aspect (easy flow of energy, easy download of new ideas) to Mars (physical force, will power and how we live in our physical bodies) in Libra (balance, harmony, and love).

We might want to ask ourselves:

What part of my thought process has grown fearful or stubborn?

How does the way I’m thinking affect my physical body?

What would it feel like to be free?

It’s a good time to imagine new ways of thinking; stepping away from fear and obstinance.
